The Back Forty Solar Cottage

Fernances Creek Farm is one hour north of Sydney in the picturesque Wollombi Valley. Ten minutes from Laguna with the Watagan Mountains and Yengo National Park on our doorstep. The Hunter Valley vineyards start here, with Broke & Pokolbin vineyards 45 minutes away. We are a Haflinger Horse stud on 210 acres, with show jumping and eventing facilities. Great for couples and families, the Back Forty Solar Cottage is a fully featured off grid solar home with all of the comforts and space to relax.

Hollybrook - Dairy Cottage 2 bedroom

Hollybrook, an adult only retreat, is a beautiful slice of country living on a 100-acre historic farm in its own valley, just 1 hr from Wahroonga. Located in Wollombi Valley, part of the Hunter Wine Region. The Dairy Cottage is a newly renovated 2-bedroom cottage nestled in trees and surrounded by gardens. With only a 5 minute drive to the closest winery at the start of the Hunter Valley and in an idyllic mountain view setting, this acreage property will be sure to please families and groups. Murray cottage

Murray is a two-bedroom cottage with two queen beds. It has beautiful views of neighbouring vineyards, and is quiet and peaceful. For weekend bookings, a minimum of two guests is required. The cottage is five minutes drive from Hunter Valley galleries and major wineries and restaurants, and less than two hours from Sydney. The cottage is kept meticulously clean by our long-term housekeeper, who uses alcohol-based cleaning agents. Generous, reduced rates are available for week-long stays.

The Studio on Pokolbin Mountain - Stunning views!

"The Studio" is situated in the heart of the Hunter Valley wine region with wineries and concert venues just minutes away. Perfect for a romantic getaway or to simply escape the hustle and bustle. There are many beautiful walks and sights to see right on your door step including wonderful wild life. The Studio" is one of two cottages on the property. The Cottage - Berry House

Nestled among sprawling gardens on 5 acres near Morpeth in the Hunter Valley, this gorgeous heritage listed cottage is part of the Berry House Estate built in 1857. Cosy up and unwind, or explore the broader Hunter Valley. The self contained cottage (converted servants quarters), is your own little oasis within the broader grounds of Berry House. Use the pool and sauna, explore the gardens, collect some farm fresh eggs, feed the sheep or just chill.

We are a popular choice for wedding guests with a 6 minute drive to Redleaf, Mystwood and Woodhouse and 10 minutes to Stonehurst. Great base for exploring the Hunter vineyards, attending concerts, bushwalking or just relaxing and watching cows wander past.
