The Chef’s Shed - a farm stay

Situated in "cool country" Trentham, the Chef’s Shed was originally built in 1860, and has been lovingly transformed into a cosy, spacious and unique place to stay. It has quirky living spaces, including a loft, and wide, stunning views over the land around, even from the private sauna which can be used for a modest fee. From here you can explore the region. We are surrounded by nature, and a few minutes from The Falls and historic Trentham with cafes, pubs, walking tracks and a lot of history.

When its time to dine and explore a three block walk delivers you to the main st of Daylesford. The original 1950s home of much loved locals Edna and Jack Grant and their five boys for 60 years. Toast them from your private deck whilst enjoying the town vistas and the wonderful 1500 sq metres of mature garden they planted.

Just 5 mins drive from Kyneton township and snuggled into our tranquil property sits Hilltop Farm, The Stables Cottage and Sanctuary Retreat. Relaxation envelopes the space with breathtaking views of the Sidonia Valley/Cobaw Ranges. Our peaceful restorative space allows for an escape with easy access to all of the Macedon regions' delights. A complimentary light breakfast is provided with each booking.
