Live Oak Cottages II InTown-Nature Retreat

Private long driveway to a quiet setting. Beautiful Live Oak trees around the grounds. It’s the upstairs cottage apartment with tall windows giving you a view to the Live Oak trees canopying together. The one by the cottage is 200 +years old!! Charming and cozy place to relax or work! Living room windows are tinted for privacy. Comfy bed and all the bedding is cleaned in between guests. There are plenty of towels, linens, and the essentials you need to be comfortable. Smart tv and Wifi too

Welcome to your centrally-located retreat in Midtown Tallahassee. Being 15 minutes from FSU & FAMU is a perfect distance, and about 5 minutes from TMH & HCA. This neighborhood location is quiet. Experience a peaceful stay at the Suite and Simple, a mother-in-law suite located on the right side of the home. Enjoy the privacy of your own kitchenette, bedroom, bathroom, and private entrance. You can sleep a total of four people comfortably with a couch futon that expands into two twin-sized beds.

Rest easy on the screened porch, with its view of the two-acre lake or cross the adjacent foot bridge to the island. Fish for bass and bream, stroll the walking path, paddle around and enjoy the wildlife, or just relax far from the madding crowd. This slice of paradise sits on 12 acres; our home is across the lake, out of sight and out of mind.

Private entrance into your suite! A ten foot wall was added to separate the suite from the rest of the house to give guests privacy. Super nice and modern hallway, room and bathroom for 2. Microwave, mini fridge and coffee maker are provided along with coffee, tea, creamer, bottled water and snacks. Stores and restaurants within 2 miles. 18 miles to FSU and a short drive to Wakulla Springs, Cherokee Sink, Leon Sinks, St. Marks, rivers and beaches.

Established neighborhood less than 2 miles from FSU and downtown; 1 block to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. Restaurants under 1/2 mile! It is on our property and we personally clean the studio.
