Located in a private, quiet country neighborhood with little traffic. This 530 Sq. Ft. studio apartment has an additional 10 Ft. x 20 Ft. deck/balcony out front overlooking the Celo Valley with a spectacular view of the Celo and Black Mountain ranges (see photos). This apt. has its own private entrance. Sorry, we must maintain a no pet policy, no exceptions.

Enjoy large deck with gazebo that feels like a treehouse above mountain stream, wood interior, fast wi-fi, kitchen, full bath, outdoor shower, 2 bedrooms, 2 swings, fire pit, and Japanese garden. Nestled in a valley, just below Deep Gap on the Black Mountain Ridge Crest Trail that leads to Mount Mitchell, tallest mountain east of the Rockies.

Our Treehouse-like stilted cottage is perched on the mountainside surrounded by trees. Blue Ridge Mountain view offers a unique experience. Private deck with bathtub (usable in warm weather over 60°F/15°C). This house has an electric fireplace to warm up & AC to cool down. Full kitchen has stainless steel appliances. Bathroom has a walk-in tiled shower and heated towel rack. Upstairs bedroom has mountain views from the queen bed. A tranquil space in which to rejuvenate. Dog friendly!

From the minute you arrive and step onto the covered deck you will face some of the most beautiful mountain views in Western North Carolina. Grab a glass of wine and a sweater and enjoy the scenery by the fire pit or sink into the Hot tub and enjoy the breathtaking views of the majestic Blue Ridge Mountains.

Bears Den Cottage

The house is open and airy with a big picture window looking out into the forest. Good chance of seeing wild life at this property. Our lawn is beautifully landscaped with different varieties of flowers all season long. The 4 person hot tub that sits up on a deck. The property is very secluded and quiet, yet close to many fun things. Including whitewater rafting, gem mining, shopping, restaurants and the Biltmore Estate.
