Open living area + kitchen, great for cooking warm dinners + board games & movie nights! Reminder, the house is older; things may creak, bathrooms aren't large, and ladybugs sneak in - but you'll be cozy! My grandparents, Rhonda & Tom, retired & built the home. It has character and where many of my childhood memories took place. Hope you can appreciate & make memories here too!

New for 2024. We have A/C coming this winter!! Situated at the top of the valley sits this charming farmhouse. With drop dead views of Celo knob and a comfortable family friendly atmosphere you'll be as cozy as at Grandma's house! And we have preserved the vibe. Plenty of room to spread out. Well stocked kitchen for big meals and space to keep the cook company. Picket fenced front yard and a fully outfitted covered outdoor cooking and gathering space. Not to mention the outdoor claw foot tub!

Nearby Mount Mitchell and the Blue Ridge Parkway offer scenic drives, hiking trails, mountain stream fishing, and picnic areas. The cottage is conveniently located to Spruce Pine, Mars Hill, Wolf Laurel, Weaverville, and Asheville.

Lux Remodel | Fainting Goats | 270° Views Retreat

Welcome to Fainting Goat Mountain...aka the G.O.A.T! This fully renovated luxury mountain top cabin is nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains, boasts 270° long range views (21 peaks) and is home to a herd of (currently 11) adorable Fainting Goats overlooking the Cane River! They are all very friendly and love interacting with people, and yes they will "faint" if startled! Come hang out with the goats, and literally "over" the goats on our new rustic treehouse net!

The Mountain Burrow
