Woodland Chalet/Peaceful Forest Retreat

Taproot Sanctuary is an enchanted mountain retreat, surrounded by stunning views and vast intact forest, only 35 minutes from downtown Asheville. A perfect tiny escape from busy life for those wishing to venture a bit out of town. Our charming woodland home nestles within the tree canopy, backed into the Big Ivy Pisgah National Forest. Rejuvenate in this incredibly peaceful retreat imbued by a melodious orchestra of birds and insects. Relax on the swing with a warm brew or refreshing beverage.

Celo Valley Retreat, with Awesome View

One of the most beautiful views in the whole valley, very close to rivers, streams, waterfalls, fishing, hiking, state parks, and more. Located in a private, quiet country neighborhood with little traffic. This 530 Sq. Ft. studio apartment has an additional 10 Ft. x 20 Ft. deck/balcony out front overlooking the Celo Valley with a spectacular view of the Celo and Black Mountain ranges (see photos). This apt. has its own private entrance. Sorry, we must maintain a no pet policy, no exceptions.

Our mountain sanctuary

Come relax and play in the great outdoors. Our area is abundant with lakes, rivers, waterfalls and hiking (the Appalachian trail is just a mile away). Our rustic cabin is built from 1875 hand hewn logs and is located on Spivey Creek in Unicoi County Tennessee. The towns of Erwin TN and Burnsville NC are just down the mountain for shopping convenience. For the arts, entertainment and airport convenience Asheville NC and Johnson City TN are less than an hour away. Come stay in our lovely cabin.

Cabin/Tiny Home. Relax & enjoy amazing mtn. views, 200 acres of trails, woods, pastures, farm, & fields. HURRICANE HELENE: TRAILS ARE NOT COMPLETELY ACCESSIBLE NOW DUE TO HELENE. Our trails & woods have been ravaged with 100's of trees down. Many trails are still not cleared. Our 1.5 mile upper ridge trail loop and one river trail are now open. Pastures and fields are mostly cleared and all areas around the cottage are completely cleared with amazing long range views of fields and mountains.

Come have a micro adventure in our tiny home! 200 sq ft, off-grid, creekside mountain retreat on 28 acres in the Smoky Mountains. No electricity or plumbing: 'glamping' at its finest! A quiet retreat 30 minutes from Asheville, NC. At 3500 ft. in elevation, it's mild during summer days and cool at night. The dark sky’s of YanceyCounty make for amazing star viewing. Well-stocked with solar lanterns, wood for fire-making. Come unplug in this unique, comfortable space. Pets welcome for $25 fee.

Bauer Ridge Treehouse

Our Treehouse-like stilted cottage is perched on the mountainside surrounded by trees. Blue Ridge Mountain view offers a unique experience. Private deck with bathtub (usable in warm weather over 60°F/15°C). This house has an electric fireplace to warm up & AC to cool down. Full kitchen has stainless steel appliances. Bathroom has a walk-in tiled shower and heated towel rack. Upstairs bedroom has mountain views from the queen bed. A tranquil space in which to rejuvenate. Dog friendly!

Our tiny house is located on our 2 acre homestead, where we garden and raise chickens, ducks, heritage rabbits & Nigerian dwarf goats. Designed and built by us in 2016, our tiny house is surprisingly spacious, has a cozy modern cabin feel, features minimalist decor and plenty of amenities. Take in the outdoors and fresh mountain air while staring at the AMAZING mountain views from the rocking chair front porch! This cabin is located just 7 miles away from the Blue Ridge Parkway, where you will find an abundance of hiking and scenic drives. Spend your evenings relaxing inside or cozying up by the fire pit listening to the babbling brook!

Mountain Shack with friendly animals and a view!

Hey Y'all!, we are offering a small shack (which was scheduled to be a portion our Boy Barn). It's 10x12 feet, furnished with a daybed with two twin mattresses. There is a retro DVD TV, mini refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and hot plate. Up our driveway and behind our home, you have use of an outdoor half bath and internet access. Behind the shack you have a private bonfire, hammock deck, a composting toilet and a covered area with a clay grill in an outdoor cooking area.

Sticken Little is a beautiful tiny home with incredible views. Just 10 minutes to Main Street Weaverville, and 20 minutes to downtown Asheville. This home may be little, but offers a fiercely pleasant stay. A close drive to Pisgah National Forest & Navitat Ziplines ensure that great outdoor memories can be made.
