Lyrebird Cottages Silver Wattle Cottage Check-in from 3pm Check-out by 12 noon Architect-designed cottage with views over the Yarra Valley. A natural retreat in the heart of the Yarra Valley. Silver Wattle cottage is set in gardens where wombats, wallabies and lyrebirds are frequent visitors. Walk through forest or dine in on the cottage deck with a sunset. Wood fire, double spa bath, separate bedroom and living room and full kitchen. Healesville cafes, shops and wineries are 15 minutes away.

Close to cafes, wineries, Healesville Sanctuary, Mt Donna Buang, and all the Yarra Valley offers. We live in a separate dwelling on-site—here to assist if needed but won’t interrupt your relaxing stay. Menzies Cottage is an hour east of Melbourne & set high on a mountain-side in the beautiful Dandenong Ranges. Enjoy views out to the Wellington Road farmlands & Cardinia Reservoir. On a clear day you can see Arthur’s Seat, Port Phillip & Westernport Bays. Visit nearby Puffing Billy Steam Train, go bushwalking, feed the friendly farm animals or settle-in for a lazy afternoon before watching the sun set. The cottage is fully self contained & with your own private entrance, deck & enclosed garden.
