The guesthouse is only a 5 minute drive from nature reserves such as Mt Majura and Mt Ainslie and there are many Canberra region wineries within a 30 minute drive. Not-to-mention Canberra's National War Memorial, Museum and Questacon closeby.

It's a short walk to cafes, bars and restaurants on Lonsdale street, and another short walk to Canberra's CBD.

Note: after numerous suggestions as to temperature control, I have now installed reverse cycle air conditioning. Nearest shops are in Queanbeyan (15mins away)
