Retreat in Pines by the Buffalo River

As featured in Secrets of National Parks by National Geographic! Come make memories at this cozy A-Frame cabin. Enjoy hundreds of acres of forest land right out the back. Explore miles of trails on your bike, ATV, or snowmobile. Walk 5 minutes to the slow and shallow Buffalo river for a lazy float or safe wading. Visit Yellowstone National Park about 30 minutes away. Cliff's Cabin - authentic Montana retreat

Tucked into the woods at the end of the road just 13 minutes from the heart of town, this cabin is a treasure. Cliff built the place himself; each tree sawn on his tractor-powered sawmill. We added family antiques, new mattresses and original art (lotsa comfort and love). The covered porch is high in the trees with breathtaking views 1000 feet above the Yellowstone River. A stellar location, you will be hard-pressed to find a more memorable authentic cabin experience during your Montana travels

Look out for the local deer herd, our red tailed hawk's nest, and listen for our resident great horned owl. Easy access to Targhee, Jackson, GTNP, YNP and more. Private, nearest neighbor is the main house 100ft away.
