The property offers the best of town and country with a private, tranquil and relaxing setting within easy walking distance of bars, restaurants, shops and downtown Mechanicsburg. Your private suite includes king bed, mini fridge, coffee maker, microwave, hairdryer, iron and ironing board. Quality Towels, Shampoo, Conditioner and body wash are provided as well as coffee supplies and dishes.

The Senator B&B is conveniently located in Mt Joy, PA. A very short drive to Lancaster, Hershey, York, and many wonderful attractions and restaurants. The home is 120 years old with tremendous charm and character. Over the warm months the grounds are teaming with flowers to enjoy. Feel free to enjoy the many common spaces to lounge and relax. Please note that this room is on the 3rd floor and does require steps. It is secludes and the only room and bathroom on the 3rd floor.

We are a 2 minute walk from the Mt Joy Amtrak train stop.

The Senator is a grand, classical old home, built by a 6 term senator from PA in 1905. We have tried to keep the spaces and furnishes elegant and in keeping with the feel of the house. The house has a grand winding staircase, beautiful period chandeliers, and extensive leaded glass panels. Our guests can use any of the public spaces and enjoy the yard and gardens. Breakfast can be served in the breakfast nook or in the formal dining room.

Marietta is a very quaint old town having many nice restaurants, Antiquing, shopping and the Susquehanna River Trail
