The River House

Come escape the pressures of everyday life at this cozy relaxing cottage along the Susquehanna river. Windows galore which allow the beauty of the river to be enjoyed from the entire house. Open floor concept with two bedrooms on an upper landing, and a large bathroom. Exposed beams, hardwood floors, granite/butcher block countertops, walk-in shower, claw foot tub, I could keep going. Enjoy the wonderful wildlife which include bald eagles, osprey, beavers, ducks and many more. If you’re hungry, you can order delicious pizza from a real Sicilian in town or fine dine at the Accomac Inn which is just a 5 minute walk down river. Perfect road for a walk, run, or bike ride. This place is truly a relaxing home away from the everyday hustle. Please come enjoy. Close to major highways and sits between Lancaster and York (20 minute drives).

Maximum of two dogs permitted on a case by case basis for a fee. Please read rules prior to booking. Have fun with the whole family at this stylish place. Let your pets run in the fenced in backyard area, make a meal for the family in the well stocked kitchen, and kick up your feet and relax in the living room with some games or puzzles. Close to downtown York as well as York hospital, Penn State, York college and expo center. Close to Lancaster, Gettysburg, and Harrisburg (30-45 min)

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. The entire home has been newly renovated with thoughtful touches and an eclectic feel. Conveniences include a wood stove, sleep number mattress, Viking gas stovetop/oven, deck facing river with propane grill, a covered carport entry, and a 180* river view at the top of the property!
