Beautiful house, stunning location for the summer

3 week + bookings only - This beautiful Walchwil family house is available for the months of July, August, September and occasionally for Christmas and New Year. We prefer to have bookings of 21days or more. The house is south facing in a quiet cul-de-sac with spectacular views across the Zugersee onto the mountains of Rigi and Pilatus. It is a 5 minute walk to the train and bus stops and a 10 minute drive to the pretty town of Zug. The lake front for swimming is 5 mins down the hill.

Die Unterkunft befindet sich im historischen Gasthof Ochsen im Herzen von Rothenthurm. Das Dorf umfasst das grösste Hochmoor der Schweiz und bietet sowohl im Sommer wie auch im Winter erholsame Naturerlebnisse. Rothenthurm ist auch ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen und Velotouren in die nahe und ferne Umgebung. Das helle und geräumige Zimmer wurde kürzlich renoviert, die liebevoll gewählte Einrichtung umfasst ein Doppelbett (180x200cm) und ein komfortables Bettsofa (140x200cm).

A narrow, winding tarred road (winter service secured) leads from the plain to the Chnollen + a short natural road leads to the vacation home. The cottage is built into the hillside with sunbathing lawn + outdoor chimney. Peace and solitude are guaranteed. A uniquely beautiful view awaits you. For the journey you need a car. Maximum parking for 2 cars.
