Oma's House (Pet Friendly)

Oma's House is a peaceful retreat with historic charm, centrally located, and minutes away from the Abilene Convention Center, Downtown, SODA District, Abilene Christian University, and Hendricks Hospital North. The property features a large fenced in back yard, gazebo with outdoor seating and basketball court. Balls and chalk are provided for an impromptu game of hopscotch or four square. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, pots, pans and cooking utensils, as well as basic spices.

Secluded railcar and caboose with incredible view

Quiet and peaceful setting overlooking Elm Valley just 9 min from Buffalo Gap. The fully renovated railcar and caboose are connected by a large back patio that boasts one of the most spectacular views in Taylor County. The railcar is the larger of the two and has a king size bed, walk in shower, full kitchen, and living area. The caboose has a queen size bed, small living area, half bath, mini fridge and coffee bar. Smart TVs and WI-FI in each. Relax and unwind at this one of a kind retreat.

Haven on Bacon near ACU pets ok

Haven on Bacon is a comfortable & entertaining space with a 2-minute scoot to ACU. Pets are welcomed. The open living space inside and out is great for gatherings and entertaining but can also be used for quiet restoration. This haven is only a 3-minute drive to Hardin Simmons and the hospital. The house is newly remodeled with a ton of amenities such as a ping-pong table, scooters, games for inside and out and much more -- it's everything you would want a home away from home to be!

Lasso Lounge

This sophisticated retreat, laced with western tones, sits less than 1/4 mile from Hardin-Simmons University and Hendrick Medical Center; 2 miles from Downtown Abilene dining, shopping, and entertainment. The ground floor features a snug living space, full-size appliances in a stocked kitchen, and the sleek sky-lit bathroom. Upstairs, relax in the lovely navy bedroom designed for a soothing sleep. Tiny House Loft on Sayles

One of a kind loft! This unique apartment was built in 1920 with our Sears Craftsman home. It has been totally renovated and updated and just might be the cutest "steampunk themed tiny house with a sleeping loft" anywhere, much less Abilene. Just minutes from downtown, the SoDA District, The Mill, bars and nightlife, all three universities and Dyess AFB. Our Historic Sayles Loft is perfectly located for one night, a weekend, or more! It’s a tiny space, so two guests is the limit!

Our little unique bungalow is a smaller home located on Sayles Blvd. Right across the street from McMurry University, 10 mins to ACU, 9 mins to Hardin Simmons. Close to Downtown, and 10 mins to the Abilene Zoo, and Expo center. We do NOT allow pets.Parking available for NO More than 3 vehicles NO parking on the grass. Please note our parking can NOT accommodate big trailers or several large vehicles. Our home is on a busy street with VERY limited parking. No pets due to allergies.

We can happily accommodate families, while also providing a space for relaxing and retreating from your daily routine.

Michael is retired and I am a partially retired RN of 33 years. Michael has owned this 1931 Craftsman style home since the late 1970s. We are lifelong Abilenians and live within a few minutes drive.
