The Blue Arroyo House

Full of color and cheer, our home is decorated with locally made art. You can expect to find classic board games available for your enjoyment as well a few unique musical instruments to try out. Enjoy the evening breeze and view of "A" Mountain while sitting on the front porch of a dead end street as the sun sets. Tennis court? Right around the corner! Or perhaps take advantage of being within walking distance of the Historic Ajo Plaza, which is home to holiday festivities and local restaurants.

Sonoran Desert Getaway ~ The DoeHawk Creek Cabin

We are minutes to the Historic Ajo Plaza and 5 minutes out to the beautiful Sonoran Desert. We are 30 mins. from Organ Pipe Natl Monument. The view from inside is limited, but sitting outside you have a great view of our spectacular sunrises and sunsets. PLEASE NOTE: if you have stayed with us before in the RV under this name, this is no longer the RV but a new cabin that sits in the same spot. Quiet little desert house

Simple and quiet little house at end of street, walking distance to historical town plaza and minutes from beautiful Sonoran desert. House is well equipped and ready for guests, all you need are groceries for a peaceful getaway to the desert. This is our guest house adjacent to our main house, it's a shared yard with plenty of space for your dog as well. We are a dog friendly property and have quiet dogs of our own who share yard. we have outdoor seating, lighting and fire pit available for use

Welcome to Ajo's original barrio. These houses built by Phelps Dodge are well built and reflect the architectural style of the rest of the town. This is centrally located, the famous Plaza is within walking distance as well as most of the Ajo businesses. There's easy access to Organpipe National Park as well as the Cabeza Prieta National Wildlife refuge. Cabeza Prieta organizes outings to enjoy. Call ahead and find the one that suits you. Ajo itself is a mecca for dark skies. Warm & peaceful.

Enjoy Ajo and the surrounding Sonoran Desert in this home! The house is centrally located in Ajo's Historic district. It is across from the Plaza, historic church, and Curley School. The plaza has art galleries, a coffee shop, yoga studio, restaurant, gym, library and more. There are local hiking and biking attractions and we are a short drive to Organ Pipe National Monument and the Cabeza Prieta Wildlife Refuge. Nearby is access to BLM land and the start of the famous El Camino de Diablo.

This was an Artists Studio until it took on its new life as a cozy, comfortable and welcoming Casita. It did keep some of its original cheery and colorful attitude, but the overall setting is peaceful and the Sunrises can be glorious. We are within walking distance to the center of town, or a short walk in the opposite direction takes you to a popular desert hiking/biking/driving trail.
