The Backwater Rhapsody, Alleppey

The Backwater Rhapsody is a private villa on the banks of Vembanad lake with expansive views of the lake and Pathiramanal Island. We have two types of rooms; 4 Standard Rooms & 1 Suite Room with king bed (All air conditioned) An idyllic oasis where guests can relax in the common garden or sit outs and enjoy the waterfront with their families away from the bustle of their busy schedules. The property is about 250 Meters away from the ‘Kayipuram’ boat Jetty about 15 mins from Alappuzha town.

The monsoons have arrived. Well, almost! The season of pelting rain and whistling winds. Life at Terns Nest will move from outdoors to indoors. The lawns will be wet. For true connoisseurs of rain, these are good times. But come with umbrellas and rain weather gear. It can be a truly wet world. Rain, some enjoy it, some don't. But for us, you are our guests. Rain or shine. Additional food and housekeeping on request. Shikara/Houseboats/speed boat facilities available during breaks in rain.

Boat cruising, cycling, fishing, barbecue, campfire etc are there. the beautiful marari beach & chethy beach are very close to our place. The atmosphere is pleasant, silent and good flow of breeze are here.
