Climb aboard back to 1956! This DC-6 air freighter spent its life flying the skies of Alaska, hauling critical frieght and fuel to remote villages around the state. Now you can climb aboard for one last flight and stay in this 2 bedroom, 1 bath airplane house with full kitchen, living room, and cockpit! Sitting on top of the locally popular Ester Dome, this unique cabin overlooks all of Fairbanks and the surrounding areas. Just 11 miles to the airport, there is amazing hiking/biking trails nearby. With a surplus of windows, the breathtaking Alaskan tundra/mountains are highlighted. Inside this custom built cabin, there is a cozy living room and a fully functional kitchen/bathroom.

Forest Yurt has all of the spirit of an off-grid forest yurt, in a quiet Anchorage neighborhood, 5 mins from airport. This 16' partial off-grid unit is wood stove heated (cut wood included), or guests can use a space heater. Comfortable full bed. Basic kitchenette amenities available: microwave, hot plate, tools, pans. No plumbing; sink and toilet are an eco- friendly Boxio system. Next to a forested park with trails. Enjoy the hot tub, collect fresh chicken eggs, and breathe forest air!
