It is about 1 mile to the northern boundary of the Tioga State Park; where exploring is wide open and snowmobiling is permitted in winter. If you want a quiet escape this is the place for you! This cabin is a great place for a family getaway in the Allegheny National Forest. It is easy to access on the main road, but still gives you the feel of the forest. It sits and overlooks the Allegheny River channel, in the summer you can watch fire flies on the island behind the cabin while you listen to the toads and bullfrogs sing. The river channel provides many opportunities to see wildlife such as ducks, eagles, deer, beavers, river otters, turtles and much more.
