In a short 3 minute drive you will be in downtown Marathon where you will find shopping at Front Street Books, Evans Gallery and Pitaya Verde. Stop by the famous White Buffalo Bar for an award winning margarita. Just a 45 minute drive to the entrance of Big Bend National Park where you will find incredible hiking, river rafting, bike riding as well as an opportunity to cross over into Mexico and Boquillas.

Originally a commercial space is a great place to relax and enjoy the sights and stars of West Texas. A studio with high ceilings and plenty of room. It is one of 6 apartments located in the heart of town. This space is entered through the courtyard at the back of the building where you can sit and enjoy the weather and stars! Guest pool access and bike rental is available at the Thunderbird Hotel at 10.00 a day per person or 25.00 a week. WIFI:Broadband fiber turbo 100mbs down and upload.

Mountain View Guest House

A well-maintained guesthouse with the feel of the Old West. Located far enough out of Alpine to give you a rural feel, but just minutes from downtown, the guesthouse is 30 feet from our house. We are very respectful of your privacy, and all of the facilities are yours to use. Sit out on the large covered porch and enjoy the view, or visit with our livestock. We are pet-friendly. To get to kitchen and bathroom you go through second room, also furnished with 2 single artisanal platform couch/ beds. The queen bed is perfect for a couple's weekend get away. The 4 artisanal platform couches/beds are perfect for lounging or extra guests. Our space is great for families.
