This open air house is a visual treat, both the interior and the landscape; full of delightful surprises and subtle details. Complete with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, Casa Wilma can comfortably accommodate up to 6 people. The modern kitchen has all the comforts you will need to prepare any meal, gourmet or otherwise. Expect a one of a kind stay. Be amazed and enjoy the gorgeous unobstructed views of the Glass Mountains and Iron Mountain. Relax on the patio with a glass of wine and observe the wildlife,birds, deer, fox, javelina ~ just to name a few. In a short 3 minute drive you will be in downtown Marathon where you will find shopping at Front Street Books, Evans Gallery and Pitaya Verde. Stop by the famous White Buffalo Bar for an award winning margarita. Just a 45 minute drive to the entrance of Big Bend National Park where you will find incredible hiking, river rafting, bike riding as well as an opportunity to cross over into Mexico and Boquillas.

A well-maintained guesthouse with the feel of the Old West. Located far enough out of Alpine to give you a rural feel, but just minutes from downtown, the guesthouse is 30 feet from our house. We are very respectful of your privacy, and all of the facilities are yours to use. Sit out on the large covered porch and enjoy the view, or visit with our livestock. We are pet-friendly. Relax around the fire pit, or soak in the hot tub while watching the sky for shooting stars and satellites.

This is a lovingly curated space for passionate travelers, lovers of design, desert sun chasers, star gazers, and folks looking for the relaxation of a slow West Texas pace. This 1920s traditional structure has been extensively refurbished, every detail has been considered. Small/Medium dogs ok (max 40 lbs). $35 per dog per stay non-refundable.
