The house lies at the foot of the Angus glens, close to St Andrews & Carnoustie & just 12 mins to the beach. It is a great location for walking and touring the region. If you fancy a peaceful stroll along the Ericht river it’s only 3 mins walk away or continue into the quaint highland town centre of Blairgowrie, 5 mins walk (famous for its strawberries) for pubs,supermarkets , cafes, shops and restaurants. Recently converted blacksmith's workshop, now a comfortable architect-designed open-plan apartment with bedroom, shower-room, modern kitchen and programable under-floor heating. Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. Created from an indoor swimming pool this modern, edge of town, holiday venue has all you need to enjoy a peaceful stay. Shops and eating places are a short walk away and there are many historic attractions to visit in rural Angus. A twenty minute drive takes you into the Angus glens which boast some of the best walking and climbing destinations in Scotland. Dundee is half-an-hour's drive south and Aberdeen an hour's drive northwards.

We are dog friendly and can accommodate one house trained dog.

The “Wee Bothy” offers a great base to explore the North East Coast, our scenic Angus Glens, and nearby Towns and Cities with places of interest all around. The Seaside/Harbour town of Arbroath is a 5 min drive away, with lots of lovely Cafes, Restaurants, Cinema and Theatre. Golfing, Fishing , Kayaking round the Cliffs and Walking, are plentiful in and around the area with Carnoustie Golf Links a 15 minute drive. Bus and Train Station in town for those who want to venture further.

"Ericht" was completed in April 2022. We are taking bookings now for May 2022 onwards. This is our 2nd cabin and 'Isla' is generally booked months in advance. Ericht offers a cosy, quirky and luxurious retreat. Sitting within our 14 acre smallholding in a rural setting surrounded by farmland with open views of the Sidlaw Hills (and our sheep) Situated between 2 lochs, generously equipped for 2 people for a night or a week.
