Wildlife, including birds, horses, and cattle, is part of the landscape, offering an authentic ranch experience just outside town. Evenings are for stargazing and s'mores around the outdoor horno (traditional fire pit), while mornings begin with coffee on the deck. You're just 10 minutes from downtown Alamosa and 30 minutes from the Sand Dunes—peaceful and private.

Our cabins are located directly on the Conejos River with everything you could need for your stay. In addition we have a beautiful pond stocked with trout. Catch and release barbless hook fly fishing is available by reservation on our river or pond separate from booking the cabin for an additional fee. PLEASE NOTE FISHING IS NOT AUTOMATICALLY INCLUDED. Also please note, we do allow dogs, however we charge a $50 pet fee. Please message us for availability. Come enjoy a peaceful getaway with us!

The property borders the Cumbres and Toltec Railway with a front porch view of the train during train season! Its a short walk to fishing and hiking in the Rio Grande National Forest. This four-season cabin can be especially enjoyable as a cozy retreat once snow flies and can be accessed by snowmobile, XC skis or snowshoes!

Off-grid rustic Mushroom yurt. This little yurt can sleep up to four people. It has a bunk bed cot and a queen size tri-fold mattress. There is a picnic table, a propane bbq grill, a fire pit, and an outhouse. Taos is approximately 30 miles, Red River 20 miles and Questa is 9 miles away. Cell service is good. The yurt has a solar power system to charge your devices. The yurt is heated. Sunshine rd is plowed in the winter, the driveway is not plowed.

Dry conditions due to widespread drought have caused river to become unfishable. Fall will see river back up.

We offer a great cabin, a stones thrown from the river on our elk ranch. Our all-season cabin can accommodate couples, or groups up to 6, and serve as a home base or launching spot for the areas countless activities. We also offer fly fishing access, if available with a rod fee, this is seperate from cabin, and must be booked in advance. We charge a $100 per pet fee.
