Sycamore Barn is a self catering holiday cottage near Shap, with views across the Eden Valley & 7 miles from the Lake District National Park. Treat yourselves to a peaceful rural retreat surrounded by nature. It is an idyllic location for those who crave the tranquillity of unspoilt Cumbria, but can't resist a visit to the Lake District. Set next to a working dairy farm, amongst charming Cumbrian countryside. Ullswater & Haweswater are only 20-30 minutes drive away & The South Lakes approx 40.

The Old Tannery

A traditional sandstone barn conversion, with a sheltered garden in the beautiful village of Temple Sowerby. Located in the Eden Valley you will be well placed for trips to the Lakes or the Dales. In the village there is a local pub offering 'Day Fishing Licences' on the local river, a church and 'The House at Temple Sowerby' if you prefer some 'Fine Dining'. A short beautiful walk will bring you to 'Acorn Bank' National Trust House, with spectacular walks along the river and a tea room.

The garden is abundant in wildlife throughout the year, and has a lovely terrace to sit out on with comfortable outdoor seating. It’s a great base for relaxing, enjoying wildlife, adventuring, or being creative. 11am checkout.

Be in beautiful and peaceful surroundings, breath in our fresh air and come home every day to your own modern yet country-feeling cottage. Hot tub, seating area at the back, and private entrance all included. Please note there are quiet hours from 10pm to 8am. Hot tub can be used at anytime

Jitty is open plan complete with kitchen, living room, bathroom and gallery bedroom with a small outdoor seating area to rear. Open plan layout is not suitable for children.

Mini Murton House is a converted dog friendly barn situated in the peaceful village of Murton. There is a Finnish wood burning hot tub on your own private south facing patio. The barn retains many original features, with exposed beams and large barn door. Cosy wood burning stove, fitted kitchen, 2 bedrooms (1 mezzanine level). We are trying to be as environmentally friendly as possible: The Mini Murton House toilet has been twinned, we have 4 recycling bins and a composter.

End terraced, 1 bedroom cottage situated in the centre of Appleby (1 minute walk from the Crown & Cushion and the market square) consisting of a lounge/diner and fully fitted kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, oven & microwave. Upstairs there is one good size bedroom (with the choice of king or twin beds) with its own walk in wardrobe & flat screen TV, a superb large double shower room with underfloor heating. We accept a max of 1 well-behaved dog when pre-booked.

The deep pool below the falls is ideal for cold-water swimming. Perfect for a romantic getaway, or watching abundant birds and wildlife, for honeymoons, anniversaries or engagements! You won't find accommodation closer to rushing water than this! No under 12s. Check in Fridays and Mondays only.
