This is a cottage we bought in October 2020. We had many holidays cancelled through COVID and decided instead to explore our own backyard. We arrived in Moonta, fell instantly in love with its history and beautiful beaches and on spec bought this little cottage with our hearts instead of our heads! Our beach house is situated on the cliffs in Point Turton, overlooking number 1 voted Flaherty’s Beach and Hardwicke Bay, with a private access to the beach below. Our beach house can sleep a maximum of 6 people across 3 bedrooms. There is one bathroom, kitchen, lounge and dining that overlook the bay with floor to ceiling doors and windows. The views are unmatched and with direct beach access you’ll feel like you have your own private haven!

Whilst it isn't the most luxurious, it's a clean and tidy semi-renovated 2-bedroom shack with amazing ocean views comfortable for 5 Just a 4-minute walk to the water's edge and wonderful views of Wallaroo. The unit is fully equipped with an open living area and has it's own private outdoor barbecue area. For those fishing, there is plenty of off-street parking for your boat and there is a well-equipped fish cleaning station that also includes lockable freezers to store your bait and catch.

The first thing that attracted me to the area was the quiet .Surrounded by nature with walking trails close by it’s a place to decompress from a busy life. Whilst I understand that Thompson Beach is a crabbing beach there is no cleaning / cooking of crabs or cleaning /gutting fish at the hideaway. All life is cared for and respected at the hideaway
