Fisher chalet is specifically designed as a spacious holiday chalet featuring a large open plan living, bedroom and separate bathroom especially for 2 people. The chalet boasts a dedicated parking area next to your chalet that leads to a private patio which catches the sunshine all day long. Enjoy the stunning Highland landscape on your doorstep from your patio furniture with views of the Portnellan Estate and across the dramatic scenery of Glen Dochart. Enter through a large glass sliding patio door into a spacious bright and airy open plan living area with large, comfortable suite, TV entertainment system with Blu Ray DVD and SKY system. You will find a galley style fitted kitchen area with all modern appliances including a washing machine, dishwasher, fan assisted oven with ceramic hob, all crockery, pots and pans, glasses, cutlery and cooking utensils. The dining area is with table and 4 chairs. The bedroom and separate bathroom lead off the living area and comprises of a sprung bed with continental size memory foam mattresses supplied with soft Egyptian Cotton bed linen. A holiday would not be a holiday without a comfortable night's sleep and we pride ourselves on the comfort of our beds and linen. The bedroom has a fitted wardrobe with drawers, fitted carpets, high quality curtains, a hair dryer, bedside tables with lighting. The bathroom with shower over bath is supplied by a pressurised hot water system. High grade towels and Arran Aromatic soap are provided. The Portnellan Estate has been privately owned by the same family for over 40 years and offers fantastic facilities to include fresh run salmon and trout fishing on the estate lochs and river, plenty of cycling on and off road for all abilities. There are kayaks, paddle boards and rowing boats on the river and lochs and a games room offering a pool table, table tennis and table football as well as a wee gym. Clay pigeon shooting can also be arranged. Wifi is available throughout the estate as well as BBQ hire. A wee visitors centre offers you th use of a DVD library, a selection of board games as well as local produce for sale to include honey, a range of hand made candles, eggs from our ducks on the estate and organic meat products fresh from a farm locally, perfect for the BBQ or home cooking. Portnellan Estate is the perfect base for exploring Central/West Scotland with known landmarks only a short distance away. Oban 45 min​ute​s, Stirling, Fort William and Glasgow just over 1 hour and Edinburgh a 90 min drive. Glen Coe and all it beholds is less than 40 mins drive and the bonnie shores of Loch Lomond are 20 mins by car. This is a beautiful location along the River Clyde and close to the Cloch Lighthouse by Gourock, We welcome dog(s) but we do restrict to a maximum of two animals. As a responsible dog owner you are expected to clean up after them. The caravan has wire mesh around the base to ensure dogs (and toddlers) cannot get under the caravan and make a bid for freedom..
