This two story log cabin was originally built in 1820 by Eli Reeves, an Indiana furniture maker. In the fall of 2015 it was moved log by log to our farm and was restored to feel like you stepped back in time but with very special touches. If these logs could talk! The first word most guests say is "wow" and we worked hard to earn that. We set out to create something special that would stand out to share with guests. Come experience this piece of history and make some memories of your own.

This space was designed with love and care and the hope that all who stay here feel relaxed and connected to nature. We recently added a cedar barrel sauna that heats up quickly and is user friendly. Often we don’t see guests but I’m always available for questions and recommendations. We live "next door" on the same property with our two young sons. The cabin is located in a neighborhood, so while it hopefully feels removed from any hustle and bustle, there is access to many conveniences.

It is spacious; the largest treehouse on the east coast, and cozy and ultra comfortable. The treehouse is a good for couples, writers, painters, families, and furry friends (pets). My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets).

High atop a ridge, you can enjoy year-round views of the mountains from the porch. Hike up the ridge or cozy up by the wood stove with a book. Grill out, start a campfire or just relax in the hammock. Nightlife, food, coffee and breweries in Asheville and Black mountain are 15 minutes away. It's an hour to Great Smokey Mountains National Park!
