Park House is the perfect garden setting by Lake Tinaroo for a home away from home for a couple, or a holiday retreat for larger groups. With 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms + bunk house, Park House suits groups of any size from a couple up to family groups of 19. Misty Hills guesthouse is a tranquil, relaxing retreat, surrounded by nature with stunning views of Lake Tinaroo. It is the perfect spot to enjoy the beauty of the Atherton Tablelands. The guesthouse overlooks Lake Tinaroo and rolling hills. The sun rising over misty hills is a breathtaking view from the deck. A perfect, peaceful base to explore the wonders of the Tablelands, water sports, hiking, rainforests, waterfalls, lakes, bike tracks, local markets, restaurants, cafes and breweries.

Lakeside Loft

The Lakeside Loft is the ultimate relaxing getaway. It is a luxury pole home, nestled in the tree tops. It boasts three levels all with breath taking panoramic views of the Lake. The back yard has direct access to the lake for water sports for most of the year. We have a canoe and kayak for guest use. The closest boat ramp is located at Tinaburra which is only a couple of mins away. Yungaburra village is also a couple of mins drive and it is 15 min to Atherton and just over 1hr to Cairns.

Idriess Cottage

A self contained, one bedroom cottage with all amenities on the edge of Herberton on the Atherton Tablelands. The cottage has a verandah with bush views and BBQ. Part of a secure 1 hectare (2 acres) estate, the cottage is 200m from the main historic homestead. There is plenty to do here, including museums, bush walking and pack donkey treks, day trips to some real outback towns and other attractions, all only 1.5 hours' drive from Cairns International Airport. Breakfast supplies included.

The property is entirely off-grid and is situated in a wildlife hotspot, with 100 acres of wet tropics rainforest connected to the World Heritage listed Maalan National Park. An ideal base for nature lovers to explore the Atherton Tableland, the bird list includes over 200 species, including Victoria's Riflebird, Blue-faced Parrot finch. Mammals include Tree kangaroos and Herbert River and Green Ringtail Possums.

Here a discrete self-contained one bedroom cottage in upland rainforest is surrounded by natural and established gardens, and at 1,160m provides a cool summer and cosy winter retreat. Uniquely the cottage integrates art within and outside. Contemplation, inspiration, privacy and comfort, are all to be experienced, along with exploring our forest and local environmental features.

Trail Town Tiny Home

Trail Town Tiny Home is situated only 800m from the rail trail, it is close to Atherton MTB park, multiple scenic road rides and quiet dirt roads. It is within easy walking distance to a great craft brewery, cafes and shops. Trail Town Tiny Home is situated on a large residential block in Atherton. It is the ideal base to explore all the lakes, waterfalls, markets and history of the stunning Tablelands. Or, just kick back and relax with a good book.

Hemingway’s on the Hill is a rustic private indulgence. Set high on the hill, bearing witness to the best of rural life. Cows graze paddocks, and flocks of birds fly overhead. Life is everywhere.
