Horton farm cottage located on 40 acres.

Located a few hundred feet from the Iris gardens at Horton farm, a six acre garden space with over 1400 Iris varieties. Bloom season is April and May. The cottage was built in 1945 on my family's heritage farm. She's located next to the old barn alongside a small Creek. Inside you'll find a fresh colorful landscape of hand made cabinets, concrete countertops and furniture. The heated and Polished concrete floor is ready for farm life. You'll be delighted in the vintage items and local artwork.

If you are looking for a peaceful and tranquil escape, you are looking at the right spot. Nestled beneath whispering conifers and oaks, this cabin boasts of beautiful mountain and valley views. Trails for hiking and premier mountain biking in the Tahoe National Forest; simply open your door and begin your adventure. Short drive to Nevada City and Yuba River; 45 minutes to ski slopes in the Sierras. The custom 600 sq. ft. private studio with a gas fireplace is fully equipped for up to 4 guests.

Grass Valley Treehouse Retreat near the Yuba River

Welcome to the Treehouse, nestled away on a 1.5-acre hillside with a panorama of towering oaks and California pines. Here you have the best of both worlds—secluded and surrounded by the natural beauty of the woods while being just minutes to the quaint historic mining towns of Grass Valley & Nevada City. It's the perfect escape for couples & small groups of friends—whether visiting local wineries, hiking trails, the Yuba River, or relaxing in front of the fireplace listening to the creek below.

Vineyard Retreat/Private entrance/Unique features

Come and relax at “The Double MK Ranch” overlooking the vineyard of Dono Dal Cielo. Centrally located between I-80 and Hwy 65 and set within Placer County wine trail. We have two spaces (same price) just specify which room you want to stay in. Our Romantic Suite is attached to the Theater Game Room which is EXCLUSIVE to the Suite. Our additional space is a Tiny Home- full kitchen, full bath and a queen Murphy bed. If the Suite is NOT rented the Tiny home renter WILL have access to the Game Room

Hilltop Sunset Farmhouse

This beautiful country home has been recently updated. Our property is tucked away at the top of a .7 mile private road, on a 10 acre farm, with amazing views of the valley, hills, city, & breathtaking sunset right from the living room/ kitchen. We are about 15 minutes away from town, so definitely not in the city. Our quaint country home is located on the Placer county wine/ ale trail, near wineries and breweries, 2 miles to Hidden Falls, and close to many of California’s best hiking trails

2 Bedroom Cabin in the Woods

Relax on 1.5ac seated on the edge of the canyon! This little delightful cabin is hidden away... you will feel like you’re staying at a 2 Bed Cabin in the woods …. with an occasional fox, deer and bear sightings! Enjoy an evening BBQ on the deck exploring the night sky. This is a small 900sft 1940’s cabin with 2 bedrooms upstairs and a small bathroom on the main floor. Only 3 homes tucked away down this long driveway. Feels rural but close to Grocery store, downtown and to confluence!

Into the Forest

If you love nature and peaceful surroundings with plenty of space, you will enjoy your stay here. This is a country home settled in the heart of the forest with birds, deer & other wildlife . Modest rustic charm with knotty pine, stone fireplace, old style and faded carpeting, but it is very clean and cozy. Enjoy the fully equipped kitchen, barbecue, excellent Wi-Fi, big screen TV and large selection of dvds. Please understand infants and small children are not recommended.

Soulful home in the Sierra Foothills, 2 hours from the Bay Area, with the warmth of a real home and not a business. Nestled on fenced 5 acres, this home is the perfect gathering retreat for privacy and relaxation. Take a soak in the hot tub with lake views, watch a movie by the fireplace, prepare exquisite meals in the gourmet kitchen and refine your mixology in the full-scale wet bar. Go paddle boarding on the lake, biking or play ping-pong, pickleball or badminton.

The Inkling -Studio Guesthouse Downtown 2 beds

The Inkling is a separate apartment attached to a Victorian home built in 1890. It is in a quiet neighborhood near beautiful scenic canyons. Close to Old Town Auburn, you may enjoy restaurants, antique shops, family-friendly activities, the American river, and many, many trails. It is less than .5 miles from downtown as well. There is an enclosed grassy area for our human and canine guests. We live in the main house with our 3 small dogs Lola, Leo and Charlie.

Little River House

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. You will be greeted with beauty and fantastic views nestled among giant Ponderosa Pines, a wide variety of wildlife and birds galore. Bald eagles have been spotted on occasion! As a guest you will have access to a very private spot on the river where you can try your luck panning for gold or fishing. You can also just relax while reading a good book, skipping rocks or just dip your toes in the water.

The Crooked Inn

The Crooked Inn is truly a gem located right between walking distance to both the Auburn State Rec Area and Downtown Auburn. All the benefits of a house, with all the conveniences of a hotel. Owned and operated by me, a local Auburn resident, it's easy to feel at home while on the road. From an extensively stocked kitchen, oversized towels down to night lights so that you can find your way to that midnight snack without stubbing a toe.
