Nestled high on the hill, this private, cozy mountain sanctuary offers breathtaking views of Lake Cuyamaca and majestic Stonewall Peak. Enter the door of our serene and peaceful zen home and feel your entire body relax in the calming space. The floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors open to a deck where you can enjoy a morning coffee, an evening glass of wine or a restorative yoga session. Maison Zen is ideal for a couple's getaway or an individual's "escape." Not suitable for children or infants.

This unique A-Frame cabin, in a quiet mountain neighborhood with private creek access, was handbuilt in 1965 and remodeled in the summer of 2024. Our cabin is nestled among redwood trees a few miles from the wild Pacific Ocean, historic Mendocino, and the Anderson Valley wine country. A place to relax, recharge, or finish a creative project. Bookings include Mendocino County tourism tax. No pets due to wildlife, and host allergies. Note: bear, fox, hawks, quail, bats, lizards, banana slugs, bobcat, spiders are part of the forest ecosystem and may occasionally visit the vicinity.
