Included in your stay of 3 days or more can be a complimentary wine tasting at the beautiful Fallbrook Winery, ($40 value) or with a 2 day stay, a 2 for 1 tasting.

Located in the historic Big Bear neighborhood Sugarloaf, this cabin is perfect for a romantic getaway, trip with your small family, or solo retreat. Welcome to Hacienda de las Rosas, retreat, and home of Hacienda Happy Tails, an Animal Sanctuary. We are a husband and wife team who grew up in the city and had dreams of owning a place where we could welcome friends, family, & maybe some animals! When we first saw our place, we fell in love with the views, yet we never imagined becoming a sanctuary for animals (and humans too)! As parents, our only regret is not doing this sooner! Now we would love to share our 5-acre farm with you!

Just down the steps across the OUTDOOR LIVING ROOM, step into the "Shower Grotto", inside an Old Growth Redwood Stump with a Rain Shower.

Founded in 1875 this Old West ranch allows guests to enjoy comfortable living in the Forest. Close to town but with no neighbors for miles. Hike forest trails with access from the property, a private, sustainable off the grid getaway. The Ranch has two spring fed ponds and a creek running through it. Interact with a wide variety of farm animals and experience abundant wildlife. Guests are provided a jeep to explore the majestic hills and the scenic 200-acre grounds.
