Country cottage in the northwest of S.Miguel, with views to the ocean, the mountains and the fields. An option for those who want to explore the main attractions of the western part of the island, but wish to stay off the beaten track. PLEASE NOTE THERE`S A CAT living in the cottage (she's an INDOOR/OUTDOOR CAT) and it might not be suitable for those who are allergic or don't like cats. The cottage is relatively secluded in a rural environment with farms, animals and all that comes with it.

The apartment is situated in the end of of a "canada", a typical azorean street,surrounded by cropping fields in a very secluded area but just 600 meters away from a exotic volcanic beach famous by historic pirate attacks. Casa do Galo is a five-minute walk away from the “green lake”, and only three from the “blue lake”, giving you the opportunity to enjoy, comfortably, the peace and tranquility of the Sete Cidades volcano crater, immersed in the different shades of green. There are several recommended trails in the area which allow guests to explore the beauty of the nearby lakes and the local restaurants give you the chance of tasting the delicious Azorean cuisine.

The house is a hospitable centennial house for rent where you can spend unique moments on São Miguel Island in the Azores. Ideal place for nature lovers to get lost in unique moments. The house was degraded, in ruins and was recovered by us during 2015. We seek to maintain the identity of the house, privileging the magnificent view and location in a quiet place conducive to a holiday where contact with the natural elements is a constant.

Casa do Lagar is one of the 3 villas of Quinta Velha das Amoreiras, an agricultural property located on the quiet outskirts of Vila Franca do Campo, in the center of São Miguel Island. Casa do Lagar is an entire house inside our farm. It has one double bedroom and two single beds on the mezzanine above the living room. A car is required.
