Welcome to this idyllic old farmhouse on Tjeldøya. The northern Light can be seen right outside the door and during the summermonths one can see cruiseboats on the Tjeldsund strait. The house is close to the sea, and the island is perfect for hikes in the mountains. You can fish cod, Salmon, makrell or flatfish - and if lucky you may ser the whales or some of the majestic eagles that habitates in this area. Kaljord Havhus! Here you will find the perfect holiday spot. Whether you want to stay close to the ocean, go fishing in our beautiful fjord, walk in the mountains or simply stay in one with nature, the possibility is here. There is also fine ski conditions during the winter. Close by is Møysalen National Park where you find Raftsund/Trollfjord few minutes away by boat, marked hiking trails, a local shop and cafe. We have boat and bikes for rent.

Evenes Airp. Northern lights on the way to Lofoten

New cottage from 2014 just 10 km from Evenes Airport. The cabin is located halfway (260 km each way) between Tromsø and Å on the mainland of Lofoten. The cottage has a simple and good standard with most amenities one expects to find in a regular home. The cottage has lovely views towards Tjeldsundet in the north and has midnight sun from late May to mid July. In the dark part of the year there are good conditions for admiring the Northern Lights.

Well equipped cabin by the sea in with a view to Lofoten. Very quiet area on the countryside perfect for nature lovers. Just 350 meters from E6 and 5 km. from Skarberget ferry port. Great scenery, climbing possibilities and hiking terrain. Large terraces, barbecue area and private beach. The fjord is also known for salmon fishing. 20 km. to Stetind, Norways national mountain. There will also be a small boat to use for short trips on the sea.

House by the sea, beach, sauna

Holiday house (2015) for all year use next to the sea on the Hadsel island. Right by secluded beach facing spectacular mountains, perfect for hiking, fishing or just slow living under the midnight sun or northern lights. Wood-fired sauna (extra cost) and two small canoes (not in use autumn/winter) for guests. Several design classics from the 1960's and selected personal objects give the house a distinct look and atmosphere.

"Eivind Astrup" Cabin / Bardu Huskylodge

The “Elvind Astrup”Cabin has been decorated and set-up with ever attention to detail to make your evenings with us comfortable and relaxed. Lovingly furnished with drift wood and natural materials the cabins accommodate five to six people. We have a sauna near the river (additional for 450NOK). Our three cozy log cabins „Helge Ingstad Hytte“, „Eivind Astrup Hytte” and "Wanny Woldstad Hytte" are all to rent on Airbnb.

We are the proud owners of this very special cabin located right at the seafront. Modern fully equipped kitchen and stylish living room with panoramic views through the large windows facing the sea. The cabin is fully equipped with everything you will need and the bathroom is spacious with water closet and large shower. Washing machine/tumbling dryer and dishwasher is also available and can be used freely.
