Unwind at this stunning French Provencal beachside cottage. The house was lovingly built with stone floors, high-beamed ceilings, and antique details for a luxurious yet charming feel. Enjoy the sea and mountain views from the pool, lush garden and private patio leading off the living area Beautiful French Provencal stone cottage set in private indigenous garden overlooking Llandudno beach. The cottage was lovingly built with exceptional attention to detail, including stone floors, high beamed ceilings, antique light fittings, French wrought iron work and wooden shutters. It comprises a double bedroom with French doors leading onto private gravel patio with sea and mountain views and breakfast table shade by tall proteas, bathroom with bath and shower tiled in travertine (also mountain views!), lounge with kitchenette and covered "sundowner" patio with magnificent sea views. The lounge and kitchenette are fully equipped with TV, fridge, convection microwave, hot plates, washing machine, dishwasher, kettle toaster, coffee machine etc. There is a stone table and chairs on patio where you can sip your cocktails at sunset as well as loungers to soak up the afternoon sun while overlooking the ocean. The beautifully furnished bedroom comprises a queen-sized bed with down duvet, French antique linen and cotton quilt. Fluffy white bath towels as well as beach towels and umbrella are provided. The Victorian roll-top bath has wonderful mountain and garden views through sash windows The cottage is surrounded by a beautiful garden planted with indigenous plants as well as an assortment of cooking herbs, which you are encouraged to use. Guests are welcome to make use of the large swimming pool and pool loungers located next to the cottage. We also have access to squash and tennis courts as well as a yoga school located 300m from the cottage. The beach is ± - 5min walk away. There is under-floor heating throughout and a gas fire place in the lounge for cosy winter evenings Guests have access to lbeautiful landscaped garden and arge swimming pool. Cottage is a 4min walk down to the beach Owner lives on the property in a separate private residence and is always available for advice on dining, site seeing etc Situated in the spectacular enclave of Llandudno which is on the Altantic coast between Camps Bay and Hout Bay. Llandudno beach with its fine white sand and curling surfing waves is one of the finest in Cape Town, but due to the limited parking is kept unspoilt and for used mainly by locals. Shops and restaurants are a 5min drive away and Table MOuntain 10min, V&A; Waterfront 25min, Constantia Winelands 20min and Cape POint 35min.The sunsets over the Altantic Ocean viewed from the cottage patio are spectacular. LLandudno is on the MY Citi bus route to town centre Camps Bay, Hout Bay and V&A A Waterfront Cottage is serviced daily from Mon to Fri Check in is from 3pm- 6pm unless prior arrangements have been made Check out is at 11am unless prior arrangements have been made Guests have access to beautiful landscaped garden and large swimming pool. If you are getting around - there is a very reliable bus transport system called MyCiTi. It’s safe & reliable. Also open-top Sightseeing buses are a great way to see the City and surrounds. But mostly visitors and locals use Uber - its quick, fast & cheap. The 2nd & 3rd Bedrooms don't have TV's. PLEASE NOTE: The home is situated on Clifton Steps street which is a flight of steps from the road, up or down, to the home depending on which way you arrive from. So you will have to climb steps. (The Upper Penthouse level is completely separate to the Main House Level) This Beach Villa - this property is situated directly on Glen Beach. (The small enclave nestled between Camps Bay and Clifton Beaches) Paradise at its best. The open plan kitchen, lounge and dining room open out onto a large decked pool area. Your beach gate leads right onto the beach. Uninterrupted sea views. Glen Beach is uniquely situated with only 15 beach homes. We are within walking distance to the local restaurant strip. The Main House section has 4 bedrooms and can sleep 8. Should your party be larger, the upper penthouse can be combined to allow for a maximum of 12 guests. The Main House is completely private, with it's own private pool. The upper penthouse has it's own pool and balconies. The Beach Gate is communal. Sean, Mary-Louise or another member of our family will be there to check you in and make sure that you are comfortable. The locale’s crystal clear oceans and soft white beaches—which are within walking distance—draw tourists. Indulge at one of the acclaimed restaurants on the strip. If you want to relax and soak up the sun, walking within the Camps Bay area is easy. Should you wish to explore all Cape Towns other beautiful spots, we recommend to hire a car. This is also extremely easy and can be done at the airport, or once you are at the villa. Cape Town also has a reliable bus system call the Myciti bus. With magnificent views of the mountain and terrains, one can fully unwind and relax in this more than spacious cottage. This private cottage will be all yours during your stay. There are multiple lounging areas inside and outside the cottage. Our long serving housekeeper, Maks, will be there to look after you and make sure you always have what you need.She cleans and does the washing daily except on a Sunday. Located within walking distance to many stunning hikes, walking routes, mountain biking, and cycling routes. There are many places nearby that you can rent bikes and there is ample storage at the house for bikes to be stored. There is ample and secure parking on our property for the vehicle you bring along for your stay. I am usually here and am very happy to help with advice at all times.
