Come and stay in our beautiful country home in the spectacular southern Sierra. We are only 17 gorgeous miles from the entrance into Yosemite National Park. Spend the day hiking the trails in Yosemite then come home and enjoy a refreshing swim in the large, private in-ground pool. You are only 7 minutes from the mountain village of Oakhurst where you can dine out in one of our many restaurants or take in a movie. Bass Lake is only 10 minutes away if you want to spend the day fishing & boating.

The cabin is less than 10 minutes from town, grocery stores, restaurants, bars, the cinema & more. 20 minutes from Bass Lake, 30 minutes from Yosemite gate, and merely steps away from the forest. Lots of hikes, lakes and rivers around. The cabin has been recently renovated and all the furnishings are brand new. So sorry, no pets and no big or loud parties. Only 13 miles from the south gate of Yosemite, this beautiful creek side home with a waterfall was once the original art studio home of a well known Yosemite Landscape Artist. Enjoy the openness of the 16 foot ceilings. High Windows flood the main room and bedrooms with light. Sleep to the soothing sound of Nelder creek (just off the deck). The creek which runs year round includes several tributaries, islands and a waterfall.
