Escape suburbia at our quaint farm style house about a mile from Lake Superior and about 1/2 mile from Northland College. Guests describe our home as cozy & reminiscent of visiting their favorite coffee shop. The house offers 4 bedrooms, 1 full bathroom on the second floor & a half bath on the main floor. A portable crib is available for infants (30 1b max). Please note that we are in the process of having baseboards milled by a local crafts person who is also installing them when we are closed.

Nestled on 110 private acres of serene woods and apple orchards, this is the perfect place to unplug and explore the peaceful beauty of Northern Wisconsin. The farmhouse is set back on a quiet country road, offering complete privacy. Just outside the doorstep, explore the property’s babbling creek, fields, and woods. We live on the adjoining property next door and are available if you need any assistance or directions.

The Chalet is packed with creature comforts: a dream kitchen, a hot tub on the back deck, a dedicated workspace, and laundry on site. It's all in a woodsy setting with plenty of room for outdoor frolicking, minutes from Lake Superior beaches and close to Cornucopia and Bayfield and the Apostle Islands.

An update: we’ve made a decision to sell this beloved cabin & move closer to our grandkids. September of 2026 is the last month to reserve. Classic, Vintage Log Cabin on 2.5 acres right on Lake Superior - a cozy step back in time! 250 ft. of bedrock shoreline. 3 Bedrooms: 2 Queen, 1 Dbl. 3/4 bath, kitchen, and indoor fireplace. Outdoors: both gas & charcoal grills, firepit, firewood, a swing & picnic table. The nightly fee is for 2 adults. There's a $10 fee/night/each additional guest.

Iron River/Bayfield county is famous for its ATV/UTV and Snowmobile trails. Located at the heart of the trail system, with easy access to the corridor, and a large parking area for trucks and trailers. Walking distance from most shops, restaurants and the local brewery and winery.

Grab a pole and head down to fish off the Ashland Oredock pier, or pack up for picnic at the beach, launch your boat, kayak or canoe. Take a walk, bike, or run on the walking trails. It is short walk to a few local restaurants and the downtown area. Access snowmobile trails. No pets are allowed.

Ashwabay, Big Top Chautauqua nearby. Outdoor patio + campfire area.

It is less than a mile from the ferry dock and all that the town of La Pointe has to offer including beaches, shops, restaurants/ bars, galleries, kayak rental, the marina, the golf course and more! You can easily bike or walk to town. A nice and quiet location for low key evenings on the deck. The home is not visible from the road adding extra privacy.
