This off-grid, solar powered hideaway is on the Knife River just a few miles outside of Two Harbors, Minnesota. The cabin itself is loaded with comfort. A full kitchen, propane refrigerator, solar powered lights and a gas fireplace/furnace offer the conveniences of home. There is an outhouse and firewood for the outdoor firepit. You will have to bring your own water for drinking, but we provide hand and dish washing water at the sink. We have coffee with pour over utensils, dishes, spices.

Take your pups swimming in the lake, enjoy a backyard bonfire, venture out for seasonal activities, or stay in and admire the views!

Waves echoing off the brownstone cliff upon which this special home is perched, absorb the splendor of bald eagles soaring only feet away. Minutes from your nest is Meyer's Beach, the common entry point to begin your kayak or hiking excursion to the sea and ice caves of this, the greatest of all lakes. There's a bend in the Brule River called Boxcar Hole — a designated Wisconsin DNR fish refuge where fish congregate in protected waters. Locals know it. Fly fishers dream about it. And this cabin sits right on it — log walls, wood stove crackling, knotty pine everywhere. The Brule is Wisconsin's most famous trout river, and you'll have direct access from the backyard. Three bedrooms, full kitchen, fire pit by the river. Come for the fishing. Stay for the quiet. Leave planning your return.

Enjoy the peace and quiet of northern Wisconsin in this cute, comfortable cabin overlooking beautiful Lake Delta near Iron River Wi. Nice deck with a picnic table, charcoal grill, lawn chairs, and a view of the lake. Enjoy the evening in front of the fire pit telling stories , enjoying a beverage, or roasting marshmallows with the kids. Perfect for families, atv riders, snowmobilers, fisherman and hunters. This is an old resort with 10 cabins, it can be busy during the peak summer season.

Norrsken 斯堪的纳维亚乡村小屋

The guest cottage is painted to resemble a Scandinavian retreat. Complete with separate bedroom, extra fold-out sofa queen bed, kitchenette, wood burning stove, WiFi (the best we can find but not great!!!) and large television (DirecTV), it is a great getaway for a couple or a family. Owners live on property if you need anything. If you are a bit adventurous, we can put up a tent right next to Lake Superior. The entire property is smoke free. For a quiet stay, no snowmobiles or ATVs.

Lakeside cabin on pristine Diamond Lake in the heart of the Chequamegon National Forest area just outside of Cable, Wisconsin. The Birkebeiner cross country ski trail and scores of other mountain biking, hiking, and snowmobiling trails are close by plus other public recreation opportunities (hunting, snowshoeing, bird watching, etc) abound in the nearby National Forest lands. Several other lakes, including Lake Namekagon and Lake Owen, are nearby for your boating and fishing pleasure.
