Tildesley 泥砖乡村小屋

Enjoy the peace and serenity of this rural retreat. Set in 18 acres in a rural/woodland environment, Tildesley is a self-contained mud brick cottage with queen bedroom, en-suite and open plan lounge, dining and kitchen area. With a wood heater for winter warmth and air-conditioning for summer, the cottage provides a comfortable environment all year round. Surrounding this rustic cottage and adjacent main house are 2.5 acres of manicured gardens, orchards, vegetable garden, paddocks & dams.

This little flat, built into the end of our shed, is simple but quirky. Don't expect all brand spanking new plates and cutlery from Ikea - we've upcycled almost everything (except linen and towels). Set 30 metres from the main house, you'll have privacy to come and go as you please, but we love a chat if you do too! We're on 5 acres. Birdlife is right outside your door (- often including our chickens!). We're ten minutes walk from a beautiful estuary beach and 4km out of Marlo township.

Our peaceful property is a quaint self contained unit which is separate from the main house and has bush views. Please note that we have recently changed our house rules and for safety and suitability reasons we no longer accept bookings with children. We also cannot accommodate pets. Please note that WiFi connection is poor inside the unit but ok on covered deck. No charging of EV permitted but there are two stations in town that we can ferry you too if we are available.

This unit has two separate sleeping areas. The main bedroom has 2 single beds which can be joined to gether to form a king bed (see picture), if required. A third single bed is located off the living/lounge area. The unit has an open plan living space with a well appointed kitchen, dining area and lounge, where you will find all your basic needs. Shared freezer space is available in the chest freezer in the BBQ area, be sure to label your catch.

This panoramic view now includes the Metung Hot Springs resort, our new neighbours, positioned some 20 metres from our water view deck. “Dee” is an original fisherman’s cottage from Paynesville which has been fully renovated and modernised into a self contained studio style space, while retaining some of the original charm. The cottage is located on a small acerage property on the doorstep of the Gippsland Lakes and a short drive to the mountains. “Dee” is the perfect spot for a quiet getaway.
