Quiet and private and yet close to village restaurants, coffeeshops, beaches, and shops. Peaceful quiet green garden with sea views. Decks upstairs with panoramic sea, mountain and fishing harbour views. Inside-outside living. Contempory spaceous open-plan living and kitchen area opens onto two decks. Wind free. Walk down to beaches, tidal pools, mountain walks, fishing jetty, and the harbour to buy fresh fish. Some of the best restaurants in Cape Town are within walking distance and many interesting and quirky shops.
Private gate entrance. You will have access to the whole house, decks, courtyards and garden. There is a single garage, plus off street parking for one car. Outside bedroom with shower & toilet can sleep 2 additional people people by arrangement.

The house is set in a classic Kalk Bay cobbled road. There's a village atmosphere here, and it's walking distance to restaurants, quirky shops, art galleries, a bookshop, wonderful hikes and swims in safe tidal pools, and great coffee shops.
3 mins walk to the train to the city, taxis and a garage for your rental car. Drive to the city, waterfront, in 35 mins. Large shopping centre at Constantia Village is a 20 minute drive away. Simonstown, Fish Hoek, and Muizenburg attractions are 10-20 minutes away. Rent a bicycle in Kalk Bay. Walk to restaurants, bars, cafes and shops.

Hiking: Silvermine and Cape Point are close. Swimming at Dalebrook, Kalk Bay and St James historic tidal pools. Beaches of Dalebrook, St James, Danger Beach, Muizenberg and Fish Hoek. Food shopping at Lakeside or Fish Hoek Woolies. The new Kalk Bay Food Market is a 3 minute walk from the house on Norman Steps. Little Fisherman, Lakeside, and the harbour for fresh fish. Bobs on the Lever St Park, Olympia and Courtyard cafe for excellent coffee. Excellent restaurants: The Olympia, Salt, Kalkies, Live Bait, and Cafe Soul for authentic Balti curries are favorites. Take the train to the city. The Kalk Bay bookshop has an interesting selection of books and events. Quagga for antique books and maps; contemporary Art at Kalk Bay Modern; clothing shops; best Italian ice cream; great coffee shops and a safe and clean children's park on Lever Street.
