This 200 year old cottage is located in a peaceful location with far reaching views from the stable door. It’s perfectly located for walkers with mountains and lakes just waiting to be explored. Cyclists can also challenge themselves on the many hills around the area, including the infamous Stwlan Dam climb. Local attractions such as Zip World, Antur Stiniog and Llechwedd Slate Caverns are a few minutes away. The cottage is also ideally located for visiting nearby Porthmadog and Betws y Coed.

This fabulously located, spacious holiday home has magnificent views from every window. With beds for 8 people in the main house & 4 in the annex it is perfect for three families or a group of friends. The 2 bathrooms in the main house are clean & modern. The kitchen is well equipped. The annex (small additional cost) has a bunk bedroom & shower room upstairs, downstairs living room with sofabed & kitchenette. Cae Canol Bach provides a lovely romantic get away. Situated on the lower slopes of the Manod mountain you will be surrounded by spectacular views of the valleys flowing towards the sea. We allow up to 3 well behaved pets who are NOT tempted by sheep. A 4x4 is required between October and April and recommended between April and October.

Dolwaen is perfectly situated for getting out & about in the beautiful Snowdonia national park. Ideally placed to visit historic town of Harlech, with its spectacular castle and quirky shops. Porthmadog is also close by where you can hop on the Welsh Highland Railway across to Beddgelert, Caernarfon, Blaenau Ffestiniog.
