Yarrabee Retreat is a cosy, modern, freshly renovated space (55m2) situated on our 2 and a half acres, framed by gum trees and with abundant wildlife. Our guest suite is fully self-contained with kitchenette, en suite bathroom, walk-in shower, spa and shared laundry. It is a new-build facility attached to the historic former Uniting Church in Spalding. The accommodation offers a relaxing overnight stay or respite for longer visits. Special features include the en suite spa bath, fully equipped kitchenette and laundry. We provide some food essentials: tea, coffee, sugar, olive oil, milk, butter and condiments, however meals are not included.

In 1856, an English stonemason, Thompson Priest, began mining slate in Mintaro. At the same time, he built a home with stables at the rear of his property. Over the intervening years, the stables fell into a desperate state, however, recently, the Stable has returned to life through a sensitive restoration and refurbishment. Set on the edge of Reillys Winery, the Stable is a 100m walk through the vines to the cellar door and further 20 metres to the renowned Magpie Stump Hotel.
