The Old Game Keepers cottage at Forest Lodge is a hidden gem in beautiful woodland near Glastonbury in rural Somerset. With abundant wildlife, fabulous countryside walks and views from the doorstep, it’s truly a special place to relax around nature. There’s plenty to keep everyone entertained with private woods, trampoline, swing, football net and Wii. Everything you would need is provided along with fresh eggs from our free roaming hens when laying, coffee pods and wood for the wood burner.

There is fantastic walking around, lovely pubs and great places nearby to visit including Salisbury, Stonehenge, Longleat Safari park, many historical sites and beaches within the hour. Welcome to our home; Waddle-On-Inn. From the animal paintings on the walls, to the ducks in the bathrooms, Waddle-On-Inn truly represents our family and our little adventures. Providing a 3 bedroom turret house for families and friends to get together, the house has just been completely refurbished to a high standard, including a superb hot tub. With a gated community (24hrs security), parking, family activities (soft play, tennis courts, games rooms and local spa). Peace is assured.

The cottage backs onto paddocks where the owners shetland ponies, pet sheep and chickens live and our younger guests are welcome to come and meet them.

Non-motorised water sports can be enjoyed on Windrush Lake.
