There are two bedrooms and a family bathroom with shower over bath, a cosy sitting room with a wood burner and super modern kitchen, both with patio doors opening to the large veranda overlooking the tumbling beck.

We are situated 5 minutes walk from Derwent Water and the Nicol End Marina for kayaking and water activities. Portinscale has a pub that serves food and a cafe. Our favourite eating places nearby are Swinside Inn and the Ivy Restaurant in Braithwaite. Keswick is a mere 5 minute drive or 20 minute walk for eating out, shopping and outdoor sports.

Built in c.1870 as part of How Farm, The Barn is a very comfortable self-contained space which sleeps two adults and two children. The Barn is in a countryside location yet gives easy access to all the North West Lakes and the lesser known but very scenic West Coast.
