A unique modern, custom built home. Contemporary architecture in the desert. Complete with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, Casa Wilma can comfortably accommodate up to 6 people. The modern kitchen has all the comforts you will need to prepare any meal, gourmet or otherwise. Expect a one of a kind stay. Be amazed and enjoy the gorgeous unobstructed views of the Glass Mountains and Iron Mountain. Relax on the patio with a glass of wine and observe the wildlife,birds, deer, fox, javelina ~ just to name a few. In a short 3 minute drive you will be in downtown Marathon where you will find shopping at Front Street Books, Evans Gallery and Pitaya Verde. Stop by the famous White Buffalo Bar for an award winning margarita. Just a 45 minute drive to the entrance of Big Bend National Park where you will find incredible hiking, river rafting, bike riding as well as an opportunity to cross over into Mexico and Boquillas.

Casa Vista Grande

Casa Vista Grande sits on a hilltop with spectacular unobstructed views of Big Bend NP and the Chisos Mtns. It's 1.3 miles south of Terlingua on a good dirt road…off Hwy 170. It is 6 miles to the entrance of BBNP. The river, mountain biking, hiking, and stables are nearby. Our remodeled 1200 sq. ft. adobe house features one bedroom with a king bed, a queen Murphy bed in the spacious living area, vaulted ceilings, full kitchen, large bathroom with tiled shower, fire pit, and two covered porches.

One part glamping all part Sassy. The McIntrye at nearly 220 sq ft with its Large Soaking Tub, Robes and Organic Toiletries, is anything but roughing it. This adult centered unit is equipped: queen size bed, organic sateen sheets, toasty gas heater in the winter, Reading Chair & Bar Cart. Other amenities include microwave, refrigerator, record player, vintage games, books and more. A perfect way to combine a connection to historic ranch land while having all the amenities of a comfortable stay.

Nestled on 20 acres of pristine Chihuahuan desert, it is the perfect property for couples, a small family, a group of hikers or anyone who wants to enjoy the solitude and wonder of the Big Bend region.

Sweet Adobe Home

This sweet adobe home from the 1950s is nestled in a garden of fruit trees and succulents. A private patio has a ramada (covered patio) and is perfect for outdoor dining, BBQ and stargazing. The home was lovingly renovated and maintained by my parents for 25 years. Beautiful tiled floors, furniture and outdoor touches reflect their love of Mexico. Marathon is an eclectic, rural town in the heart of the Marathon Basin and a great place to explore the region, be it Big Bend, Ft. Davis or Marfa.

Sunset Ranch, acre lot facing open high desert

Sunset Ranch is an acre lot at the far southeast corner of Marathon, TX that backs up to the ranch land facing south that provides unobstructed views of sunrises and sunsets from the 700 sf covered porch. Marathon is a quaint west Texas town with a public park, gardens, restaurants and shopping. It also has a level 1 night sky rating for star gazing. Located 40 minutes from Big Bend National Park entrance, this is a launch point to explore the national park and other parks and communities.

La Cochera Private Apartment - No Cleaning Fee

Relax in this cozy, calm, and stylish space. One bedroom with a private entrance and private bath. A 3 minute drive from the town center or a nice 15 minute walk. 1 hour drive to Big Bend National Park, 1 hour to McDonald Observatory, and 30 minutes to Marfa. The ideal capacity for the apartment is 2 adults and one child. The fold out futon-style chair is best suited for a child or small teenager. Quiet neighborhood, dark skies preserve. No cleaning fee!
