Expect a one of a kind stay. Be amazed and enjoy the gorgeous unobstructed views of the Glass Mountains and Iron Mountain. Relax on the patio with a glass of wine and observe the wildlife,birds, deer, fox, javelina ~ just to name a few. In a short 3 minute drive you will be in downtown Marathon where you will find shopping at Front Street Books, Evans Gallery and Pitaya Verde. Stop by the famous White Buffalo Bar for an award winning margarita. Just a 45 minute drive to the entrance of Big Bend National Park where you will find incredible hiking, river rafting, bike riding as well as an opportunity to cross over into Mexico and Boquillas.

Casa Vista Grande sits on a hilltop with spectacular unobstructed views of Big Bend NP and the Chisos Mtns. It's 1.3 miles south of Terlingua on a good dirt road…off Hwy 170. It is 6 miles to the entrance of BBNP. The river, mountain biking, hiking, and stables are nearby. Our remodeled 1200 sq. ft. adobe house features one bedroom with a king bed, a queen Murphy bed in the spacious living area, vaulted ceilings, full kitchen, large bathroom with tiled shower, fire pit, and two covered porches.

The location is central, 5 minutes from the national park and Ghosttown, on the main highway. Each cabin has a full kitchen with all cooking essentials. A wrap-around deck on three sides with patio furniture, a covered pergola, & a firepit. We have a clubhouse with a pool table, air hockey, foosball, arcades, darts & more. We have 12 rentals in total for large groups to stay together.

The home was lovingly renovated and maintained by my parents for 25 years. Beautiful tiled floors, furniture and outdoor touches reflect their love of Mexico. Marathon is an eclectic, rural town in the heart of the Marathon Basin and a great place to explore the region, be it Big Bend, Ft. Davis or Marfa.

Located 40 minutes from Big Bend National Park entrance, this is a launch point to explore the national park and other parks and communities.
