Take a verandah seat to watch the morning mist quietly rise. Observe the abundant wildlife who are happy to call Oro home, or be intoxicated by the afternoon ‘golden hour’. Within 10 minutes to the tourist town of Bright, and in close proximity to Falls Creek and Mt Hotham, only a short 45 minute drive away for hiking & skiing. Horse stays are also an option, with trail riding close by!

Also Ski resorts in Winter. Dog friendly only. For the cyclists or other sports enthusiasts, a large lockable storage shed is available for use to keep your belongings and equipment safe.

Also near by is the Rail trail, Golf course and walking tracks, Mount Buffalo and its historic chalet. With an adequate equipped kitchen and a BBQ on your own veranda.Great sunsets, starry nights, wood fire and a nearby mountain stream also on the property. The lavender is in flower from around mid Dec before getting harvested in Feb to make essential oil.
