Hilltop Guesthouse #1

Our guest house is a private detached studio apartment. Close to many local activities, including Kingdom Trails mountain biking, V.A.S.T. snowmobiling, Burke Mountain Resort and beautiful Lake Willoughby. The full kitchen includes a refrigerator/freezer, range with oven, toaster, coffee pot, silverware, glassware, and cookware. The bathroom has an upright shower, and full linens and towels are provided. We invite you to come stay with us and spend time seeing what Northern Vermont has to offer.

This charming cottage is very quiet & private, with sweeping views of Echo Lake and surrounding mountains such as Bald and Wheeler. Perfect for a romantic getaway or a small family vacation. This winter the snow is as good as it gets. Cross country ski or snow shoe here or at the many trails nearby. Or just walk out onto the lake and smile. Message for conditions Bring your passports as Canada is just 20 minutes away with great food shopping and restaurants and scenic spots.. It is beautiful.

Just up the road from the village of East Burke, we are close to nearby amenities yet in a quiet hillside surrounded by nature, the perfect location for a weekend getaway, whether you are biking, skiing, hiking or exploring the Northeast Kingdom.

Our cottage is located on Lake Memphremagog, an international lake shared with Canada. Visit our nearby hobby farm/children’s museum. Kayak, bike or hike to stunning natural settings or take day trips to a variety of interesting destinations, including maple sugar shops, alpaca or dairy farms, golf courses, a ski resort with indoor waterpark; or cross the Canadian border a few miles away and explore Quebec. A boat dock is available for use at our cottage with an access ramp a 1/4 mile away.

Vermont North East Kingdom Lakefront Hideaway

Soak up lake life as you bask in coffee and magic sunrises right outside your window. Right on the VAST trails, location is perfect for two to three snowmobiler’s or two couple’s by request. The lake only 40 feet away, nesting loons and moose, great fishing. Canoes and kayaks at the ready. This classic pine "camp" style apartment will be your ultimate hideaway in Vermont. Canoes and kayaks available for your use. Hiking, biking, cross country, downhill skiing trails, and snowmobile trails are within a short hike or drive of the house. Private apartment w/hot tub for 4 & abundant amenities. Kitchen stocked w/ basics for cooking. Access to back yard with grill, fire pit & pond stocked w/ trout (for feeding). Access to 1 mile +/- of scenic wooded trails & beaver pond w/ pedal boat. Close to Burke Mtn, VAST & Kingdom Trails. Hosts on site & available if needed. DISH, smart TV, movies & games. Internet WiFi should be strong we now have fiber. Poor cell service. NO PETS. Please don't ask.

Razzle's Cabin trailside

Razzle's cabin is on the Kingdom Trails! Right out the front door is the Coronary Bypass trail that connects to the entire network! Minutes from Burke Mountain! It's a quiet, private setting off from West Darling Hill road. Huge sunny deck with grill and picnic table along with comfy seating to relax and enjoy a beautiful sunset. Outside you'll find a sweet fire pit with a woodshed filled to the brim and an outdoor shower and bike wash!
