Enjoy a memorable visit when you stay in this unique lake house right on the water and complete with a large, covered dock. We are located on Taylor Creek less then a 100 yards from a public launch and just over a mile from the lock into Lake Okeechobee. Dock your boat or kayak at our dock, which has electric, if needed. Take time off to go fishing on world renown Lake Okeechobee. Make a cup of coffee, walk out your back door, jump on your boat under the covered boathouse, and you are on the water! Once you've caught your limit, come back in to grill up your catch. Later on, soak in the peace and quiet while watching the sunset in the relaxing outdoor seating area. Then tomorrow rinse and repeat. This is lake house living at its best!! The House: Each bedroom has its own bathroom making it perfect for groups.

This is a single family home with 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, 2 car covered parking. Please see the rates page and the house rules before you book a reservation, so there are no misunderstandings. We are a 2 minute drive to free boat ramps. 5 minutes to gas, bait and tackle. We can set you up with local fishing and hunting guides and airboat rides.

Enjoy the screened in back porch where you can take in all the natural wildlife of the area. The cottage is located on the main canal in Buckhead Ridge. Both bedrooms are furnished with queen beds, RokuTVs, split level air conditioning and ceiling fans. Queen sofa bed in living room. Fully equipped kitchen features a dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, stove, coffee pot, toaster, blender and cookware. Bathroom with standup shower. Laundry room with washer and dryer. Internet provided.
