Chambls Shack

Chambls Shack provides wanderers with a slow stay, overlooking the sandy beach at Verona Sands. Chambls is a genuine shack experience, complete with 1970’s kitchen, open fireplace and light shades. Plenty of wobbly bits and sloping floors, but we’re watertight, warm and a whole load of fun. Situated 1 hour from Hobart via Huon or Channel, Chambls welcomes travellers who want to truly relax and revisit the 70’s in luxe linens, open fire and a bottle of red. Tawny is a custom built Tiny House, whose name is inspired by the elusive Tawny Frogmouth who live in the area. With luxury bedding and facilities, an outdoor bath and stunning location overlooking Spring Bay, Tawny offers a tranquil, intimate space to relax and unwind from the everyday. A short drive to a choice of amazing beaches and short walks; Maria Island and local eateries. You can relax in the boat shed by day and in the evening, gaze at the stars by the warmth of the fire pit.

Enjoy the lovely setting of this romantic spot in nature. Listen to the ocean and the birds and enjoy glimpses of the magnificent sunrise and sunset across the bay to Freycinet and Schouten Island. We live next door, but the Studio has been positioned to ensure your privacy. You have your own beachfront spot to relax on a deckchair. Dolphin Sands is a beautiful beach and offers endless walking and swimming opportunities. Swansea is a 30 minute walk by beach or 10 minutes by car.

Experience the magic of a tiny cabin set amongst a grove of gum trees beside a creek around the bend from an isolated beach in a little-known corner of Tasmania.
