We also have a Little Tree Library with books for all ages, or little games to play. Plus, we include many lawn games right here on the historic Paxton Lodge property.

Cozy Cabin in Lassen

Cozy cabin near some of California's most pristine pine forest, waterholes and fishing, and only 9 miles from the Lassen National Park's Southwest Visitor Center. The town of Mineral is a small island of private cabins surrounded by a sea of National Forest and National Park lands. An adventurer's dream. You could walk out the backdoor of the cabin, into the forest, and arrive at the Lassen Visitor Center without crossing a single paved road, or seeing another human. Just bears.

Cabin at Lake Vera, Nevada City

Dam opening Nov 6, 2025. Cabin at Lake Vera is a 600 sq ft cabin located in the old campgrounds of Camp Watanda. The cabin has been updated for use as a vacation rental. Our site is only a few minutes from town but sits within the forested area providing you with a wonderful outdoor experience. It's only a 1 min walk to the lake with partial lake views from the cabin. Canoes and kayaks provided. 2-day min, 3-day min for any Holiday creating a 3-day weekend.
