Cozy, family friendly Chalet in the beautiful South Fork Valley of Eagle River. If you are looking for a 5-Star Hotel, this place is not for you. What we do offer is a serene and peaceful home in the mountains with a rugged natural landscape, and occasional visits from bear and moose. If you’re lucky, you may have a front row seat to Lady Aurora dancing from the spacious and comfy hot tub! We are roughly forty-minutes North of the Airport, and 15 minutes away from downtown ER.

There’s a garden with fresh greens and herbs for your enjoyment and world class hiking and skiing within 10 minutes. Palmer and Wasilla are 15 minutes away. Welcome to the Fireweed Guesthouse. Comfortable 2 1/2 bed, 1 1/2 bath, full kitchen, and a large front deck with the most amazing mountain views. Located at the end of the road, there is minimal traffic, it's a nice, peaceful cabin in the heart of Alaska! Fireweed Guesthouse is perfect for adults 21 years and older but IS NOT SUITABLE FOR YOUNG CHILDREN AND INFANTS.
