A cozy, industrial themed stay that nods to the complicated history of Cumberland Island’s most famous family, Carnegie Commons is centrally located in downtown and a short walk/bike ride to the St. Mary’s waterfront. Make yourself at home in this warm, unique space. Brew coffee and relax at the breakfast table as you plan the day’s adventures or cook an intimate dinner after a day of sight-seeing.

Short path to oceanfront complex’s secluded beach area with sandy promenade for leisurely strolling and sun worshipping. One room suite sleeps 4 (with pullout sofa). Well-equipped kitchenette. Lots of other amenities. One dog (60 lbs. max) OK with $75 fee. Sorry, no cats. For larger groups, we have additional condo units next door. Dock your boat at our 36' floating dock with easy access to the big water.

It is located on 9 scenic acres that offers trees with hooting owls nestled in them, a tall bluff that meanders down to a long boardwalk that takes you through a cypress forest that ends at the Satilla River. At the river you can relax, watch nature or read a book. We are a quick drive to great fishing.

Coastal Cottage is less than a mile from the Jekyll And Saint Simon's Island causeways and Historic Downtown Brunswick. Savannah and Jacksonville and their airports are an easy hour away. Come love what we love about our adopted hometown! We are pet lovers! So your pets are welcome. There is a $25 one time pet fee per pet to help cover the cost of the extra cleaning needed when our furry guests check out.
